AND CLIMATE
Portugal is located on
the Westside of the Iberian Peninsula in southern Europe, and the "Cabo
da Roca" situated 30 km north of Lisbon is the most western point
of the European Continent. Portugal's territory also includes the islands
of the Azores and Madeira.

with Spain

The climate in Portugal
is temperate, mainly dry and hot in the summer, but often with a cool
and fresh breeze from the Atlantic Ocean. The winter is somewhat rainy
and humid, whilst spring and autumn are mild.
In the north and central mainland of Portugal winters can be sharp and
cold, and summers very hot, whilst the eastern and southeastern coastal
areas have a Mediterranean climate.
